Least Bittern Illustration
Today’s art post is my recently finished Least Bittern (Botaurus exilis) Illustration. This was a lot of fun and I worked with a brush that I’ve been using on and off. This is a depiction of an adult male using a photo by Owen Deutsch as reference.
This piece took a little over a month as I kept putting it down and adding onto it. I feel it is now complete, but who knows. I made add a pen stroke or two moving forward.
